Ismail Ogan (born 5 March 1933) is a retired Turkish freestyle wrestler and coach.
He competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won a silver and a gold medal, respectively.
He also collected three medals at the world championships in 1957–1963.Ogan began wrestling in the traditional Turkish yagli güres (oil wrestling) style and in 1950 changed to freestyle wrestling after he was discovered by Yasar Dogu.
Soon, he was admitted to the national team, where he was trained by Celal Atik and Yasar Dogu.
Ogan retired from competitions in 1964, and then worked as a wrestling coach and the national Sports Minister.
