- Charles Michael Porter (born 11 January 1936 in Brisbane, Queensland) is a former athlete from Australia, who mainly competed in the high jump.
- He was educated at the Anglican Church Grammar School.He competed for Australia in the high jump at the 1956 Summer Olympics held in Melbourne, Australia, finishing second behind American Charles Dumas.
- He also collected silver medals in the 1958 Commonwealth Games and the 1962 Commonwealth Games His son, Christian Porter, is a politician, who is the Liberal Party member for the federal electorate of Pearce and Minister for Social Services in the Turnbull Government.
- His father, Charles Porter, was a Queensland Liberal state MP between 1966 and 1980 and served in the ministry of Joh Bjelke-Petersen.
