- He held the WBC, The Ring, and lineal welterweight titles in 2006, and challenged once for the WBC super welterweight title in 2007.
- On July 31, 2019 Carlos Baldomir was sentenced to 18 years in prison for molesting his 8 year old daughter, for a period of 2 years.
