Asdrúbal José Cabrera (Spanish pronunciation: [as'ð?ußal ka'ß?e?a]; born November 13, 1985), is a Venezuelan-American professional baseball utility infielder who is a free agent.
He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians, Tampa Bay Rays, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals.
Cabrera, a switch hitter, is a two-time All-Star.
He was primarily a middle infielder for most of his career, but transitioned to playing more third base during the 2017 New York Mets season.
