About Edvard Moseid
- Edvard Moseid (born 18 April 1945) is a Norwegian animal expert and zoo- and amusement park director. He was born in Vennesla, and is a grandson of politician Gabriel Moseid.
- He was appointed director of the Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park from its opening in 1966 to 2000.
- During this period the park developed into one of the most important tourist attractions in Southern Norway.
- The amusement elements included the Cardamom Town theme park (developed in collaboration with Thorbjørn Egner) and the stage performances of Captain Sabertooth (with Terje Formoe).
- Moseid was decorated Knight, First Class of the Order of St.
- Olav in 1999.
