Randall Glenn Johnson (born June 10, 1956) is a former Major League Baseball third baseman.
He played three full seasons, from 1982 through 1984, for the Atlanta Braves, with his best year coming in his last season, as he hit .269 with 5 HR’s and 30 in 294 AB’s.
He also played two seasons in Japan, 1987 and 1988, for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.
He served as the minor league field coordinator for the San Diego Padres from 2010-2015.
He is now a major league scout for the Detroit Tigers and is in his 40th year in professional baseball.
