About Iwao Matsuda
- Iwao Matsuda (?? ??, Matsuda Iwao, born May 19, 1937) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature).
- A native of Gifu, Gifu and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1960, attending the University of London while in the ministry.
- Leaving the ministry in 1981, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1986.
- After losing his seat in 1996, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 1998.
