About Józef Razowski
- Józef Razowski, (born 4 April 1932) is a Polish entomologist and lepidopterist specializing in Tortricidae.
- Between 1953 and 2006, he described 1744 Lepidopteran taxa.Obtained both master of science and PhD from the Jagiellonian University in 1958 and 1961 respectively.Razowski was director of the Institute of Systematics and Evolution of Animals of the Polish Academy of Sciences from 1988 to 1997.
- He retired in 2003.He is the recipient of various prizes and awards, including the Polish State Award and the Ignaz Schiffermüller medal.
