- Petrus Johannes "Pieter" Groenewald (born 27 August 1955) is a South African politician who has been serving as the Leader of the Freedom Front Plus since his election in November 2016.
- He started his political career by being elected Mayor of Stilfontein in 1988.
- He relinguished the position in 1989 due to his election to the House of Assembly.
- Groenewald co-founded the Freedom Front in 1994, and served as an Member of the National Assembly until his election to the North West Provincial Legislature in 1999.
- He soon returned to the National Assembly in 2001.
