- Derick Brassard (born September 22, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently playing for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also played for the Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Florida Panthers and Colorado Avalanche.
