She was born to Indonesian father Kanjeng Raden Mas Arjo Soetarjo Soerjosoemarno and Dutch mother Dolly Zegerius.
She has recorded dozens of albums, both recorded in Indonesia and abroad for Polydor, Philips and EMI.
