- Douglas Alexander Smith (born June 22, 1985) is a Canadian actor most notable for his work on the HBO series Big Love as Ben Henrickson, the eldest son of polygamist Bill Henrickson, as well as his role as Elliot in The Bye Bye Man. His other work include Percy Jackson : Sea of Monsters, Terminator Genesis, the Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger's Vinyl, Miss Sloane starring Jessica Chastain, When We Rise, The Alienist and the second season of HBO'S critically acclaimed Big Little Lies.
