Roberto Carvalho de Azevêdo (Portuguese pronunciation: [?o'b??tu ka?'va?u d?i aze'vedu]; born 3 October 1957) is a Brazilian career diplomat and the current Director-General of the World Trade Organization.
Azevêdo was elected to succeed Pascal Lamy as Director-General of the World Trade Organization in May 2013.
He assumed office on 1 September 2013.
He is paid a salary of 300,000 Swiss francs and an allowance of 200,000.
