About Ioan Glogojeanu
- Ioan Glogojanu (July 1, 1888 in Râmnicu-Sarat – October 22, 1941 in Odessa) was a Romanian general of the 10th Infantry Division of the Romanian army.
- He was one of the commanders during the Siege of Odessa.
- He became chief military administrator of Odessa on October 22 but was killed by an explosion at his headquarters, only a month after the fall of the city, by Soviet agents.
- His death, and the death of 60 others in that explosion, served as the catalyst for the Odessa massacre.
