Vincent Mangano (born Vincenzo Giovanni Mangano; Italian: [vin't??ntso d?o'vanni 'ma?gano]; March 28, 1888 – disappeared April 19, 1951, declared dead October 30, 1961) was an Italian-born mobster also known as "The Executioner" as named in a Brooklyn newspaper, was the head of what would come to be known as the Gambino crime family from 1931 to 1951.
His brother, Philip Mangano, was his right-hand man and consigliere.
He is also a distant paternal relative of deceased Genovese crime family underboss Venero Mangano and a suspected relative of Lawrence Mangano.
