  • Carter was initially a member of the Montreal Alouettes to start his career prior to signing with Saskatchewan on January 25, 2017 as a free agent.
  • He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2017 and 2018, having been released in August, playing with the Toronto Argonauts briefly in 2018, signing weeks after being released by the Roughriders before ultimately finding his way to Vancouver to play with the Lions in 2019.

  • Carter had a tryout for the Minnesota Vikings in 2013, but was not offered a contract.
