- Mélanie Joly (born January 16, 1979) is a Canadian lawyer, public relations expert and politician.
- She is a Liberal member of the House of Commons of Canada, representing Ahuntsic-Cartierville; Joly also serves as the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages in the present Cabinet, headed by Justin Trudeau.
- She previously served in Trudeau's cabinet as Minister of Canadian Heritage from 2015 to 2018. In 2013, she was a runner-up in Montreal municipal elections for the position of mayor and obtained 26.50% of the votes, trailing winner Denis Coderre.
- She won in Ahuntsic-Cartierville in the 2015 Canadian federal election with 47.5% of the votes cast.
