Jagdish Rai Singh (born 29 June 1953), affectionately known as Roy, is a Guyanese novelist, essayist and short story writer.
He is best known for the use of clear and concise language on a wide range of topics, ranging from religious, social, political and economic issues.
His book Earthly Tribulations was described as a “thought-provoking, no-nonsense, and intelligent book that can either start an argument or settle one.”
