- Kamala's mother Elizabeth was of English-Welsh descent, and her father, Chandumal Amesur, was an Indian eye-ear-nose-throat-brain surgeon.In 1963 she married her co-star Chuck Connors, and they were divorced in 1972.Kamala Devi became a US citizen on December 2, 1966.In 2005 she married Maurie Beaumont who died in 2008.
