Alan Levy (10 February 1932 – 2 April 2004) was an American author.
In 1974 Allen wrote a book about Karen Capek called Good Men still live.
Karel, had a powerful impact on Allen in the brief few minutes it took for him to get Allen to his destination, as Karel was his taxi driver in Prague.
Before the ride was over a relationship had been formed that resulted in a long term friendship as well as Allen’s most powerful book.
