Alan Levy (10 February 1932 – 2 April 2004) was an American author. In 1974 Allen wrote a book about Karen Capek called Good Men still live.
Karel, had a powerful impact on Allen in the brief few minutes it took for him to get Allen to his destination, as Karel was his taxi driver in Prague.
