About Anna Shukina
- Anna Valeriyevna Shukina (Russian: ???? ?????????? ??????; also transliterated as Anna Shchukina or Anna Schukina) (born 5 November 1987) is a Russian ice hockey defender who currently serves as captain of SKIF Nizhny Novgorod of the Russian Women's Hockey League (ZhHL). In December 2017, Shukina was banned for life by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for doping violations.Shukina has twice been on Russian Championship winning teams, Tornado Dmitrov in 2015 and Agidel Ufa in 2017.
- She has also received individual Women's Hockey League (ZhHL) awards for Most Goals by a Defenceman in the 2015–16 and 2016-17 seasons and Most Points by a Defenceman in the 2015-16 season.
