Guy Brewer (January 27, 1904 – October 31, 1978, aged 74) was an American politician who served in the New York State Assembly between 1969 and 1978.
He was one of the first African-Americans to be elected to political office in the New York City borough of Queens, and the first African-American to serve as Majority Whip in the Assembly.
His district in southeastern Queens included the community of Jamaica, where a major thoroughfare, New York Boulevard was renamed Guy R.
