- John Joseph Cassata (November 8, 1908 – September 8, 1989) was an American Roman Catholic bishop. Born in Galveston, Texas, Cassata was ordained a priest on December 8, 1932.
- On March 12, 1968, he was named auxiliary bishop of Bida and auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas and was consecrated bishop on June 5, 1968.
- On August 22, 1969, he was appointed the first bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth and resigned on September 16, 1980.
