- He was formerly a prominent member of the far-right Serbian Radical Party and served with the party in the National Assembly of Serbia from 2007 to 2012.
- He later joined the Serbian Progressive Party, has served with this party in the assembly since 2014, and is the current leader of its parliamentary caucus.
