About Samuel Femi Daramola
- Samuel Olufemi Daramola (born 1928) is a retired Nigerian Army officer.
- He rose through the ranks to become a Brigadier General before he retired in 1978.
- He served during the Nigerian Civil War and was head of several units and battalions in the Army. Daramola was born on June 12, 1928, in Ilupeju – Ekiti (then known as Egosi Ekiti) into a Yoruba family.
- He was a graduate of the Senior Course at the Command and Staff College Jaji.
- He was the commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) before he retired.
- He joined the Nigerian Army in 1948 and served as part of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the early 1960s.
- During the Nigerian Civil War, he provided logistics and signal support for the Federal Government's war efforts against Biafra.
