- His District 47 encompasses the western and southern portions of populous Travis County.In the Democratic sweep of Travis County in the general election held on November 6, 2018, Workman was defeated for reelection by Vikki Goodwin, 54,890 votes (52.3 percent) to 49,980 (47.7 percent).
