- Michael Andrew Coupe (born 26 September 1960), is a British businessman, the CEO of J Sainsbury plc, parent company of the supermarket chain Sainsbury's since July 2014.In January 2014, Sainsbury's then CEO Justin King announced Coupe as his successor, after revealing that he would be leaving the role in June 2014.
