- Derek Couture (born April 24, 1984) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently an unrestricted free agent.
- He most recently captained the Ontario Reign of the ECHL. Couture played four seasons (2000-2005) of major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Saskatoon Blades.
- Undrafted, he turned professional with the 2005–06 season which he played in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights.Retired from hockey in 2013, Derek now resides in Calgary, Ab where he works as a Real Estate associate for the premier Charles Real Estate group.
