About Jeff Gutt

  • Jeffrey Adam Gutt (born May 2, 1976) is an American musician, singer and songwriter who is best known as the lead vocalist for the band Stone Temple Pilots since November 2017.
  • He is also the former lead vocalist for the nu metal band Dry Cell. Gutt has appeared in two seasons of the American reality television series The X Factor.
  • He first appeared in Season 2 (2012) when he drew international acclaim for his heartfelt rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," before being eliminated in the following "Boot Camp" episode.
