About Chamari Atapattu
- Atapattu Mudiyanselage Chamari Jayangani (born 9 February 1990) is a Sri Lankan cricketer and the current captain of the women's Twenty20 International team of Sri Lanka.
- She had a short stint as the captain of the Sri Lanka women's team, and was succeeded by the previous captain Shashikala Siriwardene.
- Chamari was the tenth captain for Sri Lanka women's national cricket team, winning only one ODI, with 13 losses.
- In November 2017, she was named the Women's Cricketer of the Year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.
