About Malle Leis
- Malle Leis (7 July 1940 – 9 August 2017) was an Estonian painter and graphic artist. Leis was born in Viljandi and was educated at the Tartu Art Institute and Tallinn Art Institute.
- Her works mostly represent abstract forms in nature, including flowers, fruits and vegetables, but also landscapes.
- She developed a silk screen technique that became her trademark.
- In 2001 she was awarded the Order of the White Star. In November 2014 the Tartu Art Museum held an overview exhibition of her work.
