- John Gutenko (December 5, 1893 – October 18, 1963) better known as Kid Williams, was a Danish boxer who held the Bantamweight World Championship during his career.
- Statistical boxing website BoxRec lists Williams as the #2 ranked bantamweight of all time while The Ring Magazine founder Nat Fleischer placed him at #3.
- Williams was inducted into the Ring Magazine Hall of Fame in 1970 and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1996.
