About Rafael Franco
- Rafael de la Cruz Franco Ojeda (October 22, 1896 – September 16, 1973) was President of Paraguay from February 17, 1936, to August 13, 1937.
- He was a founder of the Revolutionary Febrerista Party. He was accused of trying to unseat General Alfredo Stroessner in November 1956, but he adamantly denied this.
- He returned to Paraguay in 1957 and until his death in 1973 he was the leader of the Partido Febrerista.
