- Ramon Torrecillas (Oviedo, 30 August 1963) is a Spanish physicist and materials scientist internationally recognized for his research in the fields of nanomaterials and biomaterials.
- Since 2008 he is Director of the Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Center (CINN)., a joint research center promoted by the Spanish National Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), the University of Oviedo and the Principality of Asturias. He has published more than 140 scientific articles and is inventor in 19 patents
