Jaime Lynn Herrera Beutler ( "butler"; born November 3, 1978) is an American politician who is the U.S.
Representative for Washington's 3rd congressional district.
A Republican, Herrera Beutler was appointed to the Washington House of Representatives in 2007 and elected to that body in 2008.
In 2010, she was elected to represent Washington's 3rd congressional district in Congress.
Herrera Beutler has since been re-elected four times, and as of the 2018 elections, is only one of two Republicans to represent a district on the United States western seaboard (the other being Don Young of Alaska).
She gained national attention after her daughter was born with Potter's Syndrome.
