About Seb Dance
- Sebastian Dance (born 1 December) is a British politician who currently serves as a Member of the European Parliament for the London region for the Labour Party.
- He was elected in 2014.
- He sits on the European Parliament Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) and the European Parliament Committee on Development (DEVE). He is Deputy Leader of the European Parliamentary Labour Party and Co-ordinator (leader and spokesperson) for the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) Group in the European Parliament's Committee of Inquiry into Emission Measurements in the Automotive Sector (EMIS), which was set up in to develop recommendations for EU institutions and Member States in response to the Volkswagen emissions scandal.
- At the beginning of his second term in 2019 he was elected as a Vice-Chair of the ENVI Committee.
