Douglas Lee LaMalfa (born July 2, 1960) is an American politician.
A Republican, he has been the U.S.
Representative for California's 1st congressional district since 2013.
The district, the second-largest in the state, covers nearly all of interior northern California including Chico, Redding, Susanville and Truckee. LaMalfa previously served in the California State Assembly, representing the 2nd district, from 2002 to 2008, and he served in the California State Senate, representing the 4th district, from 2010 to 2012.
