He achieved success with his covers on YouTube, which later were removed due to copyright issues.
In 2011, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his music career.In 2012, Gashi released his first music video for his single "Trigger".On April 16, 2014, it was announced through the Swedish daily Aftonbladet that Gashi was releasing a new single, "What It Feel Like", produced by Dre Knight and written by Sam Salter.
