Gerhard Dietrich (26 November 1927, in Aue – 8 October 1986, in Berlin) was a leading German pedagogue and a Trades Union Official.From 1952 till 1980 he worked at (what was then known as) the Karl Marx University of Leipzig on the Structuring and Methodology of teaching Biology.
Between 1980 and 1986 he was General Secretary of the Berlin based Academy of Pedagogic Sciences.
