- Gerard Piqué Bernabeu (Catalan: [??'?a?t pi'ke ß??n?'ßew], Spanish: [??e'?a? pi'ke ße?na'ßeu]; born 2 February 1987) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Barcelona and the Catalonia national team.
- Piqué is considered to be one of the best defenders in the world.Piqué joined Manchester United academy in 2004, where he remained for four years.
- He returned to Barça under Pep Guardiola's leadership, and helped the club win trebles in 2008–09 and 2014–15.
