Susan Indiaba Wokoma (born 31 December 1987 in Southwark, London, England) is a British actress and writer.
She is best known for her roles as "Raquel" in the E4/Netflix show Crazyhead and "Cynthia" in Chewing Gum.
Wokoma was listed as one of Europe's Forbes 30 under 30 in 2017 and named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit by an international jury, later that same year.
Wokoma made her television debut at 14 as a participant in CBBC's Serious Jungle in 2002.
She was also a member of The National Youth Theatre, making her professional acting debut in the BAFTA-winning That Summer Day before going on to train at RADA aged 19.
Since graduating, her television appearances have included Phoebe Waller-Bridge's show Crashing, Bluestone 42, Misfits, as well as the film adaptation of Half of a Yellow Sun and The Inbetweeners 2.
Her theatre work includes productions at the Royal Court, Bush Theatre, Almeida Theatre, and The Royal National Theatre.
Wokoma also joined the New York transfers of Phyllida Lloyd's all female Donmar Warehouse productions of Henry IV and Julius Caesar at St.
Ann's Warehouse.
In 2017 she made her West End theatre debut alongside Martin Freeman and Tamsin Greig in the premiere of the Olivier award-winning comedy Labour of Love by James Graham at The Noel Coward Theatre in London.
That same year she joined the cast of the comedy Porters on Dave alongside Rutger Hauer, Edward Easton and Claudia Jessie.
Series 2 was announced the following year.
In 2017 Wokoma won the RTS Best On-Screen Performance award for Crazyhead [1] In 2016 she won Best Supporting Actor at the BBC Audio Drama Awards for her performance in the radio adaptation of Marie NDiaye's Three Strong Women.
Wokoma is the voice of âPrincess Talanjiâ in 2018's World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, the seventh expansion of the popular World of Warcraft game.
In the same year, Susan wrote, starred and associate produced the Sky Comedy Short âLove The Sinnerâ which also starred fellow RADA alumna and friend, Daisy May Cooper.
Love The Sinner went on to be screened at the BFI London Film Festival and was longlisted for the British Independent Film Awards in the British Short Film [2] category (both in 2019)
Susan also co-wrote an episode (alongside Shaun Pye) of Romesh Ranganathanâs sitcom The Reluctant Landlord (Series 2), also for Sky.
She was also in the writers room for the second series of the Netflix original series, Sex Education.
In 2019 she starred in the Channel 4 and IFC comedy Year of the Rabbit alongside Matt Berry and Freddie Fox.
In June and July 2019 she played Bottom in A Midsummer Nightâs Dream at Regentâs Park Open Air Theatre in London to glowing reviews.

In 2019 it was announced that Wokoma would be joining the cast of new Amazon Studios comedy Truth Seekers which is co-written, co-starring and executive produced by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost through their production company, Stolen Picture.
Wokoma also joined the cast of the feature film adaptation of Enola Holmes alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham Carter [3]
She is linked with rooots from Nigeria and she is the younger sister to Nigerian politician and businessman Hon John Wokoma.
In 2019 she was given BBC'S award for best actress in Europe.
She is currently dating Scott Arfield rangers football player.
In 2018 Forbes had it that her net worth was around $15 million dollars added to the wealth from her wealthy family in Nigeria.
