Roberto Sahade (born May 29, 1976) is a Brazilian business man, founder of GMR Energia group, a family corporation, with investments in power generation in Latin America, mainly Brazil, Chile and Perú.
Of Lebanese descent, he is the son of Moukbel Roberto Sahade, Brazilian entrepreneur in construction and real estate development sectors, and Ana Maria Spina Sahade, dentist.
Graduated as civil engineer at Fundação Armando Alváres Penteado – FAAP, in 1998, and obtained his MBA from IBMEC-SP, in 2001.
Has also done postgraduate studies at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in 2007, and at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, in 2011 and 2017, both in the United States, and Insead, Fontainebleau Campus, in 2009, in France.
Currently, is in charge of GMR Energia (2004), holding company with investments in CPFL Renováveis, in Brazil, and LAP – Latin America Power, in Chile and Peru.12
