Li Xueqin (Chinese: ???; Wade–Giles: Li Hsüeh-ch'in, 28 March 1933 – 24 February 2019) was a Chinese historian, archaeologist, and palaeographer, who was widely considered the most important Chinese historian of his time.
He served as Director of the Institute of History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Professor and Director of the Institute of Sinology of Tsinghua University, Chairman of the Pre-Qin History Association of China, and Director of the Xia–Shang–Zhou Chronology Project.
