- He began his acting career as a junior artist in the Malayalam film Mazhavilkoodaram (1995) and later began appearing in supporting roles.
- He played the lead role in the 2018 film Joseph, which was a box office success and his breakthrough role.
- He went on to win the 2018 Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actor for his performances in Chola and Joseph.
- He also co-produced the 2015 film Charlie.
- He won the National Film Award – Special Mention for Joseph (2018), which he produced.
