João Pedro da Silva Pereira (born 25 February 1984) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Turkish club Trabzonspor mainly as a right back.
An attacking wingback, he was also known for his fiery temperament that led to altercations with adversary players and referees numerous times.
In his country, he represented both Benfica and Sporting CP, amassing Primeira Liga totals of 227 matches and nine goals and winning the 2005 national championship with the former.
He also spent two and a half seasons in Spain, with Valencia.
Internationally, Pereira represented Portugal at Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup.
