- João Pedro da Silva Pereira (born 25 February 1984) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Turkish club Trabzonspor mainly as a right back. An attacking wingback, he was also known for his fiery temperament that led to altercations with adversary players and referees numerous times.
- In his country, he represented both Benfica and Sporting CP, amassing Primeira Liga totals of 227 matches and nine goals and winning the 2005 national championship with the former.
- He also spent two and a half seasons in Spain, with Valencia. Internationally, Pereira represented Portugal at Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup.
