Afshin Naghouni (born 25 August 1969) is an Iranian-born British visual artist.
Naghouni won a number of regional and national painting competitions between the ages of nine and twelve.As a child, while attempting to run from Iranian police, Naghouni fell from the seventh floor of a building.
He injured his spinal cord, which left him in a wheelchair.
This event is the focus of the 2014 TV documentary Out of Focus.Naghouni studied art in Tehran and London, doing his post graduate work at London Metropolitan University, in the Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design.
