About Tai Wynyard
- Tai Hikuroa Wynyard (born 5 February 1998) is a New Zealand professional basketball player for the Cairns Taipans of the National Basketball League (NBL).
- Prior to joining Kentucky in December 2015, Wynyard played professionally in his home country for the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian NBL and the Super City Rangers of the New Zealand NBL.
- In April 2018, he cut short his career at Kentucky after a tumultuous two-year spell where he was caught up in a gun scandal.
- In 2019, he returned to New Zealand to play for the Southland Sharks.
