Indu Prakash Singh (I.

Singh; 23 July 1931 – 16 August 2002) was an Indian philosopher, economist, politician, scholar, author and former diplomat with the Indian Foreign Service.
He served as General Secretary of the Indian National Congress (Socialist) and was also a member of the National Executive of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
He served as Indian Ambassador to Nepal in 2000. He died in office on 16 August 2002 after a long battle with Cancer.
