James Oswald Anderson (18 March 1872 – 21 July 1932), born in Buenos Aires to British parents and known in Argentina as Juan O.
Anderson, played football for Lomas Athletic Club in Argentina between 1895 and 1902, participated in the first official game of Argentina’s national football team against Uruguay in 1902 where he scored one of six goals for his team, was an early President of Argentine Rugby Union between 1904 and 1905 and later played cricket for Hertfordshire between 1906 and 1911.
