Alexander Egorovich Varlamov (or Aleksandr Yegorovich Varlamov; Russian: ????????? ???????? ????????; 27 November 1801 – 27 October 1848) was one of the founding fathers of the Russian art song.
He was the author of probably the first method of singing by a Russian author, Polnaya Shkola Penia - The Complete School of Singing (Moscow, 1840)
